Carved Oak Purdonium Horned Beasts (SOLD)
An unusual antique, carved oak purdonium depicting horned beasts.
(approx. 380 x 380mm /460mm height)
Horned beasts depicted on the front and both sides, surrounded by scroll-work. Flaming torch with a quiver of arrows featuring on the top, whilst at the back there is a receptacle for a small shovel.
Condition is good, not perfect - it has been used but well looked after.
