Acrylic on board, by myself
(approx. 450 x 300mm or 17 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches)
An exersise in ‘automatic painting’ - having no preconception of what one is painting, instead allowing one’s subconscious to flow freely through the paintbrush. The process is aided by the use of conducive psychedelics. The resulting images are rather forbidding, probably the reason why they have been buried for seven years. I’m glad I kept them though - time has allowed me to view them objectively, and I think they’re strong images. Condition is as the day it was painted.

‘Die Große Hure Babylon’ (1994)
(approx. 21 x 15.5 inches)
The title translates from German as ‘The Great Whore of Babylon’, and that is just about as much as I know about this piece! I bought it from an auction because I liked it. I think it’s an intaglio print on beautiful, heavy rag paper. I can’t make out the signature, if you’ve stumbled upon this piece and can shed any light, please get in touch.
Condition is as seen in the images - there are a few creases that could be eradicated during framing process.

Large Erotic Psychedelic Screen Print (1975)
(approx. 24 x 17 inches)
Purchased in Germany around twenty years ago. I know nothing about it, other than it is an incredibly striking image dating from 1975, and it has been screen printed on heavy stock paper.
Condition is very good.

Condition is very good, not perfect - there are creases which could be virtually eradicated during a good framing process.
